INTRODUCTION

   Welcome to the Kindred Oracles of Justice world-wide-web presence. The KoJ is an estate of the Adrian Empire, which is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to the study and recreation of Western European culture between the years 1066 and 1603. Our members work to recreate the arts and skills of this era. We also include other cultures that commonly interacted with the Western Europeans during our time frame. The Adrian Empire's statement of purpose reads: "We endeavor to enlighten our communities by providing a mechanism to explore the lifestyles and societies of the period of history commonly referred to as The Age of Chivalry."

    If you would like to step back into time to dress, act and speak like those of the medieval & renaissance time periods, you are in the right place. Additionally, you may compete with our members and those at any other Adrian Empire gathering across the country in exciting tournaments of Archery, Arts & Sciences, Combat (3 forms) and help administer the events (called Ministry). One of the most exciting offerings is the recreation combat using steel weapons! Any participant may achieve a Knighthood in any of the four areas in up to three degrees with reasonable efforts.

    The focus of the KoJ and the non-profit organization it is an estate of, the Adrian Empire, is FUN for the whole family! Where else can you invent a persona, dress in "period" garb, enjoy a picnic in a park, and have a little friendly competition with a great group of like minded people? The Adrian Empire is the next logical step for anyone who has enjoyed a "Renaissance Faire". We strongly encourage you to join us at our next event, see what we are about, see what it is like, and see if it is something you would like to do. The public is always welcome to observe any event, and anyone interested in participating is welcomed.

CHARTER

    The KoJ is a "landed estate" of the Adrian Empire, and is subject to the rulings of the "Crown", or those who are making decisions in the Kingdom of Esperance, which is based in Orange County. Our own charter is: Be True, Act Honorably, Seek Justice and Show The Way. We seek all who wish to work together with us, to achieve enjoyment in our pursuits of a fun, and exciting recreation of the age of chivalry.
